Clearly visible from across the room, these markable maps' contrasting colors make countries easy to see, while detailed shaded relief (both subsea and terrestrial) helps students understand how physical geography influences political geography.

The maps include country names, major and capital cities (with type size indicating population), longitude and latitude, and (except for the Australia/Oceania map) cross-continental cross-section elevation profiles. Thematic insets vary from map to map, but generally include climate, land use, and population. Each map measures 54″h x 65″w and comes mounted on a spring roller in a steel frame designed for hanging from a backboard or from a one-inch map rail (not included).
